§ 30-16A. Enforcement

  • (a)

    After an order to correct a violation has been issued and the date of compliance ordered by the special magistrate or a code enforcement board has passed, the code enforcement officer shall make an inspection to determine if the alleged violation has been corrected.

    (b)

    The code enforcement officer shall then issue an affidavit of compliance or noncompliance, which shall be filed with the special magistrate or a code enforcement board. A copy of the affidavit shall be sent to the violator(s) in the same manner as provided for notices in section 30-19.

    (c)

    If the violator(s) have not complied with the order of the special magistrate or a code enforcement board, the special magistrate or a code enforcement board shall be authorized to impose such penalties as provided in section 30-17.

    (d)

    The special magistrate or a code enforcement board shall hold such additional hearing(s) as necessary to ensure compliance.
