§ 5-23. Abandoning vessels.

  • It shall be a violation of this article for the owner or operator of any vessel to leave or abandon the vessel upon, beneath or beside the waters within the city limits, when such vessel is aground, adrift, awash, in a sinking condition, or in such a condition as to be inoperative, or which may constitute a hazard to other vessels, or is in such a condition as to be unsafe, or which may endanger the public health, safety, or welfare.
