§ 5-33.5. Beach areas for boat launching.
In the interest of safety and the orderly patrol of the beach areas by the city police, it shall be unlawful to launch a boat at any place upon the city beaches except human or wind powered vessels.

Ordinance No. 1083, adopted May 18, 1995, added new §§ 5-33.6 and 5-33.7, pertaining to launching fees and penalties. Subsequently, Ord. No. 1087, adopted August 10, 1995, repealed §§ 5-33.5 and 5-33.6 and renumbered § 5-33.7 as 5-33.5. Former § 5-33.5 pertained to beach areas for swimming and boat launching. Subsequently, Ord. No. 1120, § 1, adopted August 15, 1996, amended § 5-33.5 to read as set out.
