§ 5-45. Established.

The ocean front building restriction line for properties within the corporate limits of the City of Cocoa Beach fronting on the Atlantic Ocean is established coterminous with the "Coastal Construction Setback Line," set by the State of Florida.

The seawall line for properties within the corporate limits of the city fronting on the Atlantic Ocean [is] to be established and located at stated distances easterly of the center line of Atlantic Avenue (also known as S.R. A1A) or Ocean Beach Boulevard. Said lines are established in accordance with the line shown on the official map and designated "Seawall Line."

The seawall line is not necessarily paralleled to the center line of the streets mentioned, but is on a straight line drawn between the points established by means of measuring the distances shown on the official map.
