§ 5-53. Opening of beaches for special occasions; authority of city manager.

The city manager is authorized to open any parts of the ocean beach lying within the corporate limits of the city which are closed to traffic and travel by motor vehicular traffic under the terms of this article for use by motor vehicular traffic on occasions when, in his opinion, such use of the closed parts of the ocean beach will be required for a special event, ceremony, or parade. The beach shall be closed again to motor vehicles immediately after any such event.
