§ 6-44. Right to hearing on assessment.

  • Prior to the expiration of the thirty (30) days provided in section 6-43 of this article, any owner shall have the right to have a hearing before the commission to show cause, if any, why the cost and charges incurred by the city under this article are excessive or unwarranted or why such costs should not constitute a lien against said land, provided that nothing contained in this section is to be construed to disturb or permit a review of the order by resolution by the city commission of the existence of the public nuisance under section 6-41 of this article.
