§ 9-14. Classes of violations and associated civil penalties in accordance with chapter 31 of the City Code.

  • (a) Means of egress locked and/or obstructed Class IV
    (b) Over occupancy load Class IV
    (c) Failure to comply with section 9-5, storage of explosive, blasting agent, and flammable liquids Class IV
    (d) Dispensing or storing flammable, or combustible liquids into an unapproved container Class IV
    (e) Failure to comply with NFPA 1, 10.11.7, cooking devices Class III
    (f) Outside burning of any kind or type Class III
    (g) Failure to obtain a beach campfire permit Class III
    (h) Failure to maintain a tar kettle below 600 degrees Fahrenheit Class III
    (i) Reserved
    (j) Failure of a fire alarm or sprinkler contractor to properly place a system into the "test" mode Class III per occurrence

Ord. No. 1567, § 2, adopted Sept. 5, 2013, repealed the former § 9-14, and enacted a new section as set out herein. The former § 9-14 pertained to classes of violations and associated civil penalties in accordance with section 31-11 and derived from Ord. No. 1451, § 2, adopted May 17, 2007.
