§ 9-2. Establishment of bureau of fire prevention; duties.

(a)

There is hereby established a Bureau of Fire Prevention within the Fire Department of the City of Cocoa Beach, to be operated under the supervision of the chief of the fire department.

(b)

The chief of the fire department may detail to the bureau of fire prevention such members of the department as may be necessary to carry out the functions of said bureau.

(c)

The bureau of fire prevention shall be responsible for making all inspections required under the Florida Fire Prevention Code, National Fire Codes, and other applicable ordinances of the city.
