§ 9-4. Definitions.

Whenever the following words or terms are used in the codes hereby adopted they shall mean:
(1)

Municipality. City of Cocoa Beach, Florida.

(2)

Corporation counsel. City Attorney of Cocoa Beach, Florida.

(3)

Chief of the bureau of fire prevention. The fire chief, as set forth in section 9-2(b) of this chapter.

(4)

Fire official. The fire chief, as set forth in section 9-2(b) of this chapter.

(5)

Authority having jurisdiction (AHJ). The Fire Department, City of Cocoa Beach, Florida.

(6)

NFPA. National Fire Protection Association.

(7)

FFPC. Florida Fire Prevention Code.
