§ 2.02. Eligibility and qualifications.

Except as specifically restricted by this charter or state law any qualified voter of the city, having continuously resided in the city or any area annexed by the city for one (1) year immediately prior to filing as a candidate, shall be eligible to hold office as a member of the city commission.
