§ 5-29.1. Vessel, living aboard.

  • It shall be unlawful for any vessel to be used by persons to live aboard unless such vessel is docked at a licensed marina and equipped to provide adequate sanitation facilities. "Live aboard" means occupancy of the vessel to sleep or maintain residency for three (3) or more days (seventy-two (72) hours) in a one-week period, with a maximum of nine (9) days in a thirty-day period, and does not apply to casual overnight or weekend occupancy, provided the vessel has adequate sanitation facilities.
